随着政府对新冠疫情的控制措施逐步放开，点问顿中华文化中心陆续恢复举办各类活动。今 年夏天，我们为期 8 周的儿童夏令营即将圆满结束，在 8 月初民族节三天的活动现场，由本中心举办的香港馆也迎来了众多访客。两个活动的成功，都离不开志愿者的支持与帮助。 为答谢志愿者的无私付出，我们将邀请部分志愿者参与影片《尚气与十环传奇》的提前点映活动， 于 9 月 1 日在 Scotia theater 抢先观看该影片。 《尚气与十环传奇》是漫威系列首部以亚裔超级英雄为主角的影片，即将于 2021 年 9 月 3 日全球公映。中华文化中心首度有机会与Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Canada合作并参与该影片在埃德蒙顿地区的推广活动。点问顿中华文化中心作为一家非牟利机构，需要大量的义工，与我们一起为弘扬中华文化， 促进加拿大多元文化政策而努力。希望有志之士积极加入我们，每一位志愿者的点滴奉献， 都将汇聚成星辰大海。

As the Alberta government gradually removing COVID-19 restrictions, Edmonton Multicultural Centre has resumed various events. This summer, our 8-week children’s summer camp is coming to a successful conclusion. At the three days Heritage Festival in early August, the Hong Kong pavilion we hosted also welcomed numerous customers. The success of the two events can not be achieved without the help and support of the volunteers. To appreciate the volunteers’ dedication, we would like to invite some volunteers to participate in the advance screening of the film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” in Scotia Theater on September 1st. “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” is the first film in the Marvel’s series featuring Asian superheroes as the main protagonists. It will be released worldwide on September 3rd, 2021. ECMCC has the pleasure to partner with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Canada and to participate in the advance screening in Edmonton.
As a non-profit organization, ECMCC needs volunteers in various occasions, working together to share the beauty of the Chinese culture and to enhance Canada’s multicultural policies. Hope that there will be more volunteers willing to join our team. Every volunteer’s dedication will make a huge difference.
